There are bloggers who rather not make money with their blog, because it is against their morals to commercialize there blog. If you are not one of the commercial bloggers . Then I would not consider to monetize it to make money from your blog. If you think making money from your blog is not ethical! good for you. If you think making money from your blog is good. Then do it.

You need to realize if you want to generate money from you blog. It is not easy to make money from your blog. It is quite time consuming and take much effort. The most important thing is to have a good ambition to generate income from your blog. If your blog provide the readers the true value, then there is no doubt that your blog wouldn't succeed. If you really want to make money from your blog, then you can place ads on your blog and you can sell products. If you want to monetize your blog then do it fully, do not place few ads, place a whole AdSense skyscraper.

It is really possible to make money online, I blog now for a year, I have made a nice part time income. I guess if you do it full time the earning will increase. I made money online with writing for sites like and There are top bloggers such as John Chow and Darren Rowse. These people make six-figure income annually. If you are fully devoted it is not that hard to make a healthy income online. If you have strategy planed out it will make it much easier for you to generate higher income and push your self towards to goals you set. I can ensure once you reach the $1000 a month you will push your self towards a goal of $1500 a month. This way you will stay motivated to reach higher income online.

I think this is the most important thing if you want to earn higher earnings in the home based business. If you want to make a healthy online income then you can submit your blog to search engines and directories. One of the best things is to use the Blog Carnivals. Blog Carnivals can help you to show off your skills. Make sure you submit relevant content to the Blog Carnival.

What I have experienced is that text-links ads generate great income if you have lots of traffic. In my case my online income is depending on blogging for sites such as PayPerPost. Some of the high paying opportunities require no text-links ads on your site. This can take your online income down. If you decide to make money online with ads, affiliate income, leads. Then text links ads wouldn't do no harm to your blog. I have no text-link ads, because this wouldn't allow me to make money from my blog with writing reviews.
