Squidoo is one of the big lovers of Google. Squidoo lenses get quickly indexed in the Google search engines quick. Google loves fresh content and Squidoo got those fresh content. Squidoo is just like other blogging platforms, but it has more of a social networking touch to it. It can be called another Myspace where you can get paid for the amount of the traffic you get. Squidoo shares the AdSense revenue with the Lens owners. You also can sell products from your lens.
A Squidoo website is called a Lens. Squidoo makes it possible for you to share your expertise with people who are interested in the stuff you write about. You can build much lenses as you want.
